About PKD Cure Tracker

PKD Cure Tracker is an informational website built for patients, caregivers, and the broader PKD community. Our mission is simple: deliver the latest research, clinical trial updates, and treatment developments as soon as the information becomes available.

Why this exists

Research into Polycystic Kidney Disease is moving faster than ever. New drugs are entering clinical trials, ketogenic interventions are showing real results, and the pace of published studies continues to accelerate. But keeping up with all of it is hard — information is scattered across academic journals, government databases, conference proceedings, and Facebook groups.

PKD Cure Tracker exists to solve that problem. We aggregate, organize, and present the information in a way that's quick to navigate and easy to understand, so you can stay informed without spending hours digging through sources.

Our principles

  • Impartial information — We present the data and research as it is, without bias toward any particular treatment or commercial interest.
  • 100% free, 100% ad-free — This website has no ads, no paywalls, and no sponsorships. It will stay that way.
  • Speed — When new information comes out, we aim to have it on the site as quickly as possible.
  • Community-driven — This project exists for the PKD community and grows with its input and collaboration.

Who it's for

Whether you're a patient recently diagnosed, a long-time caregiver, a family member trying to understand the landscape, or a researcher looking for a quick overview — this site is for you.

Behind the project

PKD Cure Tracker is built and maintained by Renato Molina Toth, a software engineer and nutritionist based in Canada with a personal connection to the disease.
